New Logo for Foreverlight.net

The 26th of January each year is Australia’s National Day. We live in Australia and so on this great day 26th January 2011, we are pleased to announce the release of the new logo for Foreverlight.net.

Foreverlight.net was founded on 3rd July 2004 by Joel Wong and Sarah Wong. In late 2010, we felt that it was time to have a new logo in 2011 to reflect what we are doing at present. Without further ado, this is the new 2011 logo and tagline of Foreverlight.net.

Our new 2011 logo and tagline were personally created by Joel Wong and Sarah Wong. We have creative talents and we do our own graphics design. Following are our design notes for your further reference.

Symmetrical design – square inside a square

The design concept of a small square inside a large square is based on this Bible verse. “Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.” (Job 8:7). We started small but we will continue to expand and grow larger.

Color Cyan (CMYK 100 25 0 0)

We decided on the light blue colour of the sky rather than the deep blue of the ocean. Our main interest is now in Cloud applications. The common word “cloud” is used as a metaphor for the Internet and for new web technologies. The colour cyan blue in our Logo represents the blue sky. The white area represents clouds. The white area also represents Light.
