Our new tagline is “We are the Light of the Internet”.

The domain extension “.net” was originally designated for network providers, hence our domain name is Foreverlight.net. We do not own Forevelight “.com” and that point is not important to us. We feel that “.net” is a more relevant domain extension for us because the Internet is often referred to as the Net.

Foreverlight.net is made up of two key words, Forever and Light. The dictionary meaning of “forever” has one clear meaning – always, eternal, something without end.

In contrast, the dictionary meaning of “light” has several meanings. Light can refer to one’s physical size – heavyweight or lightweight. Light in food packaging means “less fat” and this is a popular term for people trying to lose weight. Light in Physics refer to electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the normal unaided human eye. Candle light, torch light and solar light are common types of light.

However, the “light” of Foreverlight.net refers to the spiritual “Light” mentioned in the Bible. Light is mentioned 263 times in the New International Version of the Bible. ( biblica.com/bible/search).

Our new tagline is simply based on a well known Bible verse. “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14). Our personal and corporate goal is to live our lives as such.
